Some of the work here is still being researched, drafted, tested, revised, or prepared for publication.

These pages make that work visible without presenting it as finished. A project may change substantially, divide into different works, be withdrawn, or remain unresolved.

Where useful, project pages will say what question is being pursued, what exists now, and what remains open.

People-Rooted Sovereignty Under Constraint

In development

Work on sovereignty as the living authority of a people, especially where that authority must continue under legal, institutional, economic, or historical constraint.

The project is being developed alongside a scholarly companion and continuing comparison with existing work in Indigenous governance, sovereignty, and political theory.

Pit River Land, Reservation & Dispossession Research

Active archival research

A primary-source investigation into the attempted Pitt River reservation, land history, administrative decisions, tract geometry, and the documentary record surrounding dispossession and closure.

The research remains open. Some findings are well supported; others still depend on unresolved archival records and geographic reconstruction.

Agency in Motion

In development

A philosophical project about agency, continuity, listening, evidence, interpretation, and what must remain possible for a person or people to continue through changing conditions.

The current work is being tested against its predecessors, its inferential steps, and the possibility that some of its architecture may need revision.

Living Continuance

In development

An ethical project asking what makes a life, relationship, institution, or shared world worth sustaining—not only what prevents domination or harm, but what supports meaningful continuation.

Its positive normative ground is still being developed and should not yet be read as a finished ethical theory.

Resilient Governance

Framework in development

Work on the constructive side of governance: how institutions can maintain livable pathways, redundancy, infrastructure resilience, economic stability, care, and the capacity to continue before failure becomes crisis.

The project is still being shaped into a distinct public form.

What Compliance Requires

Manuscript in publication development

A paper on moral obligation, bodily use, refusal, and abortion law, developed from the wider Agency First framework.

The manuscript is being handled as a journal work. Public material here will describe the project without substituting for the controlled manuscript or overstating its publication status.

Answerable Roles

Manuscript under revision

A paper about conscience, gatekeeping, institutional roles, and what happens when a person with institutional power obstructs another person's access to an otherwise available path.

Its editorial and publication status should be read from the current project record rather than assumed from earlier versions.

Art-Status Is Not Legitimacy

Rebuilt manuscript — new venue being considered

A paper examining the difference between something having art-status and the authority or legitimacy of the relation through which that status is established.

An earlier submission was rejected. The manuscript was rebuilt afterward and is being considered for a different publication venue.

What a project page means

A project page means only that the work exists and is being made visible while it develops.

It does not mean that the argument is settled, the evidence is complete, a journal has accepted the work, or the current formulation will remain unchanged.

When a project becomes a stable public work, the project page should point forward to that work rather than compete with it.
